Which classes are in AION 2 at global launch?
The global build ships with eight classes spanning the classic tank, damage and support roles. Every class can be played on either faction and any gender — nothing is locked behind Elyos or Asmodian, or behind character creation choices.

One caveat before launch day: exact skill names, numbers and skill trees have not been made public in the global client. Skill names are still withheld by the client, so any site publishing “complete” AION 2 skill lists today is guessing. Can you play Elyos or Asmodians?
Yes — AION 2 keeps the two classic AION factions, Elyos and Asmodians, and you choose yours during character creation. The choice shapes your starting zone and story, but it does not restrict the class roster: all eight classes are available to both factions, and none of them are gender-locked.
Is the Brawler class in the global version?
No. Brawler is the ninth class in the Korean and Taiwanese service, added in a post-launch chapter there. The global launch roster is the eight classes listed above, and Brawler is not part of it at release. (Based on KR/TW builds; community-reported timing for a global release — not officially confirmed.)
Which dungeons are coming at launch?
NCSOFT has revealed four Expedition dungeons for the launch window: Krao Cave, Urugugu Canyon, Fire Temple and Draupnir. Full mechanics breakdowns, boss strategies and drop tables will be published here after launch — drop data must come from the live game, not estimates.
Is AION 2 coming to consoles?
AION 2 is PC-only at global launch: Windows via the NCSOFT launcher and Steam. No console or mobile version has been announced for the global release — if that changes, this page will be updated with the official announcement as its source.
