About Aion2 Codex
Aion2 Codex is an unofficial fan site and reference library for AION 2, the free-to-play PC MMORPG from NCSOFT that launches globally on October 5, 2026. The goal is simple: accurate classes, builds, dungeons and patch coverage, with every fact traceable to where it came from.
How this site sources its data
Every data point on this site carries a source label and a verification date. Facts come first from official channels — the official AION 2 site, the Steam store page, and official patch notes and announcements. Community reports from places like Reddit and the official Discord are used only when labeled as community-reported, never as the sole basis for a claim. When something is not yet public, the page says so plainly instead of filling the gap with guesses.
That also means no fabricated skill names, drop tables or tier rankings. Until the global servers open and real data can be collected, coverage stays anchored to what NCSOFT has actually published.
What ships after launch
The site opens in launch-coverage mode: release dates, the class roster, factions and the officially revealed Expeditions. Once the game goes live, the plan is class deep-dives, skill and build pages, dungeon guides with real drop data, and patch note summaries — each added only when the underlying data can be verified.
