AION 2 Tools — Every Timer & Utility We Run
Three tools run on Aion2 Codex, all in your browser, all free: the AION 2 rift timer counts down the next Spacetime Rift window, the AION 2 event timer tracks every daily, weekly and hourly reset on one clock, and the AION 2 server ping test measures your real latency to all five global regions. No login, no install, nothing uploaded.
Which AION 2 tool do you need?
| Tool | It solves | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Rift timer | The Spacetime Rift opens every 3 hours and only admits players for the first 10 minutes — when is the next window, in your time zone? | Before you plan a play session around rifts, and while a window is open |
| Event timer | Daily reset (16:00 UTC), weekly reset (Wednesday), the hourly Shugo Festival, world bosses and sieges — all on one clock | Every session: what is still claimable today, and what resets tonight |
| Ping test | Your real round-trip latency to NA East, NA West, Europe, LATAM, Asia and the KR/TW service | Before you pick a server region — and any time the game feels late |
Timing tools — the server clock, converted to yours
AION 2's global service hangs every repeatable activity off fixed UTC anchors: nothing spawns on a random timer. The problem is that the anchors live in server time, while you live somewhere else — and missing a 10-minute entry window because you mentally converted 21:00 UTC wrong is a real cost. Both timers below read the same fixed anchors and render them as live countdowns in your device's time zone.
AION 2 rift timer — never miss a Spacetime Rift window
Spacetime Rifts are the portal events that open enemy territory for PvP dungeon runs and contested spawns — community guides treat them as one of the highest-value windows of the day. The cycle is fixed: eight windows a day at 3-hour clock hours, each event running an hour but the portal only admitting players for the first 10 minutes. The timer counts down to the next opening, flips to an “entry closes in” clock during the window, and lists the upcoming windows in your local time — so a rift you miss is never a mystery. Run it before you plan a session around rifts, and keep it open while a window is live.
AION 2 event timer — daily, weekly and hourly events on one clock
One clock runs your account: daily activities refresh at 16:00 server time (UTC), weekly activities on Wednesday at the same moment, the Shugo Festival opens on the hour for 10 minutes, and the world bosses and Artifact Sieges spawn on fixed UTC hours. The event timer lines all of them up as countdowns in your time zone — use it at the start of a session to see what is still claimable today, and at the end to see what resets tonight before you log off.
Network tools — measure the route before you commit
AION 2 server ping test — latency to all five global regions
Region choice at registration is the one networking decision you cannot take back, and AION 2 is an action-combat MMORPG where late is late. The ping test measures your round-trip latency to NA East, NA West, Europe, LATAM and Asia — plus the KR/TW service — with five probes per region, re-running automatically every minute while the page is open. Run it from the machine and network you will actually play on, before you create your character; re-run it whenever the game feels late and you want to know whether the route or the session is to blame. It measures latency, not server status — the status checklist lives on our AION 2 servers page.

AION 2 tools FAQ
Which AION 2 tool should I use first?
If you have not committed to a server region yet, the ping test — latency is the one thing you cannot change after you pick a region, and it takes seconds to measure. After that, the timers become the daily habit: the event timer for the reset windows that structure your day, and the rift timer whenever a Spacetime Rift window is coming up.
Do the tools need an account, an install or a login?
No to all three. Both timers are pure clock math that runs in your browser from fixed UTC anchors — no server queries and nothing sent anywhere. The ping test fires probes from your browser to public network endpoints and measures the round trip locally; no result is stored, reported or uploaded. Close the tab and everything is gone.
Where does the schedule data come from?
Community trackers (Questlog, Game8) cross-checked against each other and against the countdowns players see in-game, verified October 5, 2026 — and labeled community-reported on every page, because NCSOFT publishes no event timetables. The timers convert those anchors to your local time zone; the in-game countdowns remain the final word for your account.
Do the timers work for the Korean and Taiwanese servers?
No — every schedule on these pages tracks the global service (live since October 5, 2026). The KR and TW services run their own clocks that land at different UTC hours. If you play on KR/TW characters, read the in-game countdowns instead.
