AION 2 Builds

An AION 2 build is the setup a class runs for one mode of play: Stigma picks, skill and talent choices, and the gear to match. This hub collects every build published on Aion2 Codex, split into PvE builds and PvP builds per class. The PvE grid below holds every tested build published so far; the remaining launch classes follow as their data can be verified.

AION 2 PvE builds

PvE builds are tuned for the PvE endgame: sustained output into boss mechanics, area damage for packed pulls, and the survivability windows that keep you alive through the dungeon and Expedition rosters. Cards below link each published build; a greyed card means the guide is being written and goes live within days.

AION 2 PvP builds

No PvP builds are published yet — the first ones go live once launch-week testing on the global servers gives them real numbers. When they land they optimize for a different fight: The Abyss faction war with flight combat, Arena duels and large-scale Battlefield pushes, where burst, control and mobility matter more than sustained boss damage. PvP build cards will appear in this section as each guide ships.

PvE build or PvP build: why AION 2 needs both

Same class, different job. A PvE build answers boss timers and damage checks; a PvP build answers opponents who dodge, dispel and fight back, which is why the stat and skill priorities diverge even for the same class. AION 2’s own progression pushes you through both: Stigma enhancement — the system that defines a build’s skill kit — is tied to a currency earned in PvP content.

What goes into an AION 2 build

Three layers stack up to a finished build. First, Stigma: the equippable skill enhancements that give a class its real identity — class differences are reported to be subtle below level 40, so the build barely exists before the Stigma system opens. Second, gear: enhancement, ascension stages and the talent tree decide how those skills perform — the mechanics are on the gear and progression page. Third, the mode: the PvE/PvP split above decides which numbers matter. Each build page on this hub takes all three layers for one class in one mode and turns them into a concrete setup.

AION 2 builds FAQ

What is a build in AION 2?

The complete setup a class runs: which Stigma skills are socketed and enhanced, how the talent points are spent, and which stats the gear carries. AION 2 builds are per mode — the same class runs a different setup for dungeon play than for The Abyss or the Arena.

Do AION 2 PvE and PvP builds differ?

Yes. A PvE build optimizes sustained damage and survivability against boss mechanics; a PvP build optimizes burst, control and mobility against players who react. The split is enforced by progression too — on the KR/TW build, Stigma enhancement shards are funded mainly through the Abyss Exchange Shop, paid for with Abyss Points earned in PvP content. Based on KR/TW builds, not yet confirmed for the global client.

Which AION 2 build came first?

The Spiritmaster PvE build — the first full build page on Aion2 Codex, written for launch week. After it, each of the eight launch classes gets PvE and PvP coverage as launch data can be verified; every build lands in the card grids above, and the class groundwork (weapon, role, party slot) is on each class guide.
