AION 2 Guides
Three guides cover your first week: the AION 2 beginner guide tells you whether the game is worth your time and what the first hours feel like, the AION 2 free-to-play guide maps what money actually buys, and the AION 2 leveling guide turns the early hours into an XP route. Read the beginner guide first; the other two earn their place as the questions come up.
Which AION 2 guide do you need?
| Guide | It answers | Read it when |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner guide | Is AION 2 worth playing — and what do the first hours actually feel like? | Before you commit your first evening |
| Free to Play | What is actually free, and what do the Founder’s Pack and the membership buy? | When a spending decision shows up — in launch week, usually at Founder’s Pack checkout |
| Leveling guide | What gives the most XP, and the fast route through the leveling window | Once you are in and the XP bar starts crawling |
AION 2 beginner guide — the first hours, reviewed
Built on eight hours of September playtest footage: what combat, character creation and the leveling loop actually feel like, where the build falls short, and the beginner tips worth knowing before you pick a class. If you are still deciding whether AION 2 is worth playing — start here.
AION 2 free-to-play guide — what the game costs, what money buys
The money question, answered once: what is genuinely free, what the Founder’s Pack tiers and the Special Quai Membership actually unlock, how the Daeva Pass tracks work, and where the pay-to-win arguments hold up — with official claims and community-reported behavior kept visibly separate. Read it when money enters the picture; in launch week that is usually at Founder’s Pack checkout.
AION 2 leveling guide — XP sources and the fast route
What gives the most XP in the leveling window — main story pacing, Regional Quest rewards, Sealed Dungeon farming, Daily Dungeon tickets — and the mistakes that cost hours. If you are in on Advance Access and want the five-day head start to count, this is the route.

AION 2 guides FAQ
Which AION 2 guide should I read first?
The beginner guide. It answers whether the game is worth your time and what the first hours feel like. The leveling guide becomes useful the moment you are actually leveling, and the free-to-play guide when a purchase decision — Founder's Pack, membership — shows up.
Do I need to pay to follow these guides?
No. AION 2 is free to download and play, and the routes in these guides use regular gameplay systems — quests, dungeons, collection. The paid side (Founder's Pack, Special Quai Membership) is about early access, cosmetics and market access, which is exactly what the free-to-play guide untangles.
What are these guides based on?
Official sources first — the NCSOFT site and the Steam store page — plus eight hours of September 2026 global playtest footage behind the two gameplay guides. Anything community-reported or drawn from the KR/TW servers is labeled as such on the page where it appears.
