AION 2 Sorcerer PvE Build (Global Launch)

An early-stage Sorcerer PvE build for the AION 2 global client, recorded on a character leveled from scratch — the skill and stigma points on screen are the ones you actually have at 45. The guide’s framing: the Sorcerer is the highest PvE DPS dealer, burst-shaped, so everything goes to offense — Flaming Arrow’s mana line first, cast speed everywhere else, and a six-slot stigma line that opens with the attack buff. No macro yet — the creator deliberately deferred it. Class groundwork (role, weapon, party slot) is on the Sorcerer class guide.
About this guide’s source
This page is built from a single community source: a video guide by a content creator playing the Taiwanese and Korean services before the global launch (the outro points players at those servers). The guide exists as a correction to its own Chanter build video — viewers pointed out that its min-maxed gear and skill points did not match what 99% of players actually have — so this time the creator leveled a brand-new Sorcerer and everything shown matches a fresh level 45 (supplied transcript). Everything below is Community-reported, not officially confirmed. Skill and stigma names are transcribed from the video and may differ from the live client’s text — several names are garbled or missing, flagged inline; treat all of them as approximate until checked in game. Numbers are the creator’s on-screen readings. The source video contains a sponsored segment for a ping-booster service; sponsor claims are excluded from this page.

The feather monolith: collect before you spend
Before any points go anywhere, the guide sends you to the map: a monolith (transcribed) with collectible feathers scattered around it. Register the feathers — the guide registers three on camera — and the payout is substantial: a title, enchants, skills and a pile of skill points (the registration shown adds 20 on the spot, on a baseline the guide reads as 234, plus 24 stigma shards as the base stock). The system keeps leveling — the guide reads it topping out at level 30 — so the rewards keep arriving over time.
Two more point sources the guide names for later: stigma shards also come from trading your AP, from purchasing, and as dungeon drops; and skill points keep flowing from side content — the guide’s own point totals here (its readings) are the floor, not the ceiling. The details live in its separate farming video, which this page does not duplicate.
The class in one line: highest PvE DPS, all offense
The guide’s identity statement for the class: the Sorcerer is the highest DPS dealer in PvE — community-reported, not officially confirmed — and the damage is burst damage: you commit every resource to offense and burn the target down. The build below follows that shape: nothing is spent on defense except one survival barrier in the stigma line, and the early-game priorities are about keeping the casts coming (mana, cast speed) rather than protecting yourself.
The skill panel: what to level first
Flaming Arrow — the mana problem child
The first-week staple, and the reason the class has a mana economy: the guide reads a fresh pool around 3k and a cost of roughly 120 per cast — this one skill alone burns about half your mana over ten casts. Level it to 8 and mark the mana line first. The other lines exist further along the panel — a multi-hit chance line and later an “imprint fire mark” line (transcribed) — but those unlock meaningfully once Arcanas and other boosts start raising the skill’s level; for the first ten days, mana is the line.
The spam skill — attack speed, and a slow on the target
At level 8, mark the attack speed line — how fast you can cast matters more than anything at this stage. The skill also lowers the movement speed of whatever it hits, which the guide calls incredible in PvE: a slowed target is free positioning for a caster that must stand still.
The 5-second fire skill — skill speed for PvE
An active, low-cooldown (5-second) spam skill; take it at 8. The PvE line is 20% skill speed. The PvP alternative — a 60% incoming-heal line (transcribed) — exists, but the guide’s advice is blunt: your first two weeks are PvE, leave the PvP line alone. For a Sorcerer, speed is the stat that matters.
The blizzard AoE — level 8, duration line
An AoE skill that does a crazy amount of damage, in the guide’s words. Level 8, and the line to mark extends the blizzard’s duration — more time ticking on the ground is more damage from every cast.
The single-target skill — parked on purpose
The guide names one skill as “beautiful” and a one-target attack, then deliberately defers it — “we will talk about it a bit later” — and the transcript never returns to it. It sits in the panel unpicked at this stage.
The stagger-window nuke (transcribed “fire target skill”)
A crazy-important early PvE skill with a specific job: when the boss is staggered, you spam it into the window and it does a lot of damage. For its lines the guide skips the 5% HP-and-MP absorb option and takes the mobility one (its words: “check it for the mobile”) — positioning beats a small drain on a caster that dies standing still.
Hellfire (transcribed “crazy hellfire”) — the biggest hit
Your biggest damage skill, and the first one to maximize. The mandatory line is the casting one — faster casts. Later lines branch by content: a minus-cooldown option; an ignore-block-and-evasion option that the guide files under PvP; and a fire damage-over-time line (10 seconds of debuff, a crazy amount of extra damage) for PvP and for final bosses — against a boss you have the time for the DoT to pay off. While farming and clearing dungeons, the guide’s pick is the 30% skill speed line instead.
Defiance (transcribed “the finance”) — level 8, 20% HP
At least level 8, with the restore-20%-HP line: once it removes the stun you come back with a fifth of your bar. The third build guide in this series to land on exactly this skill at exactly level 8 with exactly 20% — the Gladiator and Ranger guides run the same line, which is about as corroborated as transcribed builds get.
The attack buff — maximize the duration
The self-buff the whole rotation opens with, on a 1-minute cooldown. The guide’s instruction is to maximize it — maximum time — and its on-screen reading lands around 10% additional attack, effectively ~20% attack for about 14.5 seconds (numbers transcribed; treat the split as approximate).
The actives and passives around the burst
The video’s own section labels blur here — it calls this run “the active skills” and then flows into passives without announcing them — so the breakdown below follows function, with the same names the transcript uses.
The double-chance skill — push it as far as it goes
“Your crazy skill” — strong in PvE and PvP both. The line to chase is the PvE double chance (the x2-damage proc the Gladiator build also prizes); the guide says to forget the active-skill-damage line entirely and push double chance as much as you can, extra cards included.
Rebel of Flame (transcribed) — mandatory
The guide’s one non-negotiable pick of this section: you need to get it. What the transcript does not give is a description — the name is flagged, the mandate stands.
The MP-conditional damage skill — leave it for now
A near-twin of the double-chance skill whose conditionals read oddly in the transcript (a version that works when your HP/MP is 20% higher, extra damage when your MP is low) — on top of boosting PvE and PvP damage. The guide’s advice with limited points: it only grows by small amounts right now, so leave it as is and let later points finish it.
The above-60% spam skill — early-game core
A small-damage spam skill with one condition that matters: if the target’s HP is above 60%, you hit more. Early, when fights are long and everything sits above that line for most of its life, the guide calls it so-so-so important — most of every kill happens inside your bonus window.
Fire Mark and the crit-while-charged passive
Two maximized passives close the panel. Fire Mark (transcribed) — max it: a lot of fire damage over time. The second (transcribed “creed”) raises your MP pool and your critical hit rate while MP stays above 50% — which turns mana management into a damage stat: recharge actively and the crit boost is permanently up.
The spending order when points are short
Everything above assumed the fresh-45 point budget (the feather bonus included). The guide’s order of operations: finish the two major DPS skills first — it completes both on camera — then the skill with the minus-5-seconds line (which also slows the enemy; maximize it), and pour whatever is left into Ice Chain (transcribed), your spam skill. Past that, more point sources keep opening up — purchasable points among them — and the endgame is simply maximizing the whole panel. What this build does not include: any Daevanion board routing — the transcript never opens the board, so this page does not either (the Spiritmaster and Assassin builds carry that side of the series).
The stigma line: six slots (KR/TW)
The guide builds one stigma line of six skills — the six-slot layout the KR/TW client runs (the other build guides in this series confirm the global client’s four-slot cadence at levels 22 / 27 / 32 / 37). The line, in order:
| Slot | Stigma | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | The attack buff | You always open with it and use it as often as possible — the same buff the panel section maximizes for duration |
| 2 | Divine Burst (transcribed) | A knock-back jump that doubles as an escape — and at level 10 the guide reads a +10% line (the transcript's wording about the source of that extra damage is unclear) |
| 3 | Firewall (transcribed) | Land it and everything inside burns — best when a boss stays put or when farmed mobs walk through. The guide's on-screen reading: 4,000 plus 1,600 extra from the landing fire |
| 4 | Glacial Smite (transcribed) | A huge, instant-cast nuke; the guide reads roughly 20% more damage when more targets are in range |
| 5 | A barrier (unnamed in the transcript) | The one survival pick of the line — a good skill, in the guide's words, on a build that otherwise spends everything on offense |
| 6 | Soul Freeze (transcribed) — over Lumiel Smite (transcribed) | The whole reasoning: Soul Freeze's cooldown is 1 minute against Lumiel Smite's 1.3, the difference is small, and for PvE the faster one wins |
Usage is what the guide demonstrates last: fire the buff, then spam the line straight down — its demo is literally a stream of back-to-back casts until everything is on cooldown. Nothing more scripted than that in this guide, for a reason the next section explains.
No macro yet — deliberately
Every other build guide on this site ends in a macro; this one does not, and that is the source’s own decision, not an omission. The creator announces a dedicated Sorcerer macro build video — roughly two days after this one — and says the early-game macro needs checking against what Korean pros run before he publishes a version. Until that exists, the honest state is: the stigma line is spammed in order, the panel plays manually, and the macro section of this page stays empty rather than being invented. The builds hub collects the macros the other guides do carry.

Sorcerer PvE build FAQ
Is the Sorcerer the highest DPS class in AION 2 PvE?
That is the guide's claim, stated as the class's identity: the highest PvE DPS dealer, burst-shaped, with every point pushed into offense. It is community-reported, not officially confirmed — our tier list stays empty until live match data exists, so treat this as one experienced player's reading.
Why does the Sorcerer run out of mana so fast?
Flaming Arrow, the early-game staple, costs roughly 120 MP per cast by the guide's reading — ten casts take about half of a fresh ~3k pool. That is why its first specialty line is the mana one, and why the crit-while-charged passive (transcribed 'creed') wants the pool kept above 50%: recharge actively and the passive stays up permanently.
Which stigmas should an early Sorcerer slot?
The guide's line runs six slots (KR/TW service): the attack buff first — you always open with it — then Divine Burst, Firewall, Glacial Smite, a barrier for survival, and Soul Freeze, chosen over Lumiel Smite because a 1-minute cooldown beats 1.3 minutes for PvE. All stigma names are transcribed from the video and may differ from the live client's text.
Where is the Sorcerer macro build?
Not in this guide, deliberately. The creator deferred the Sorcerer macro to a dedicated follow-up video, saying the early-game version needs checking against what Korean pros run before publishing. Every other build guide on this site covers its macro; this page carries none rather than inventing one.
